Still in progress.

This list is based on my research combined with a little experience. There are more but this is these are the most common! Not all edible flowers come from plants you might consider having in your garden but there are a good dozen of those and some help to eradicate pests so be sure to study this list.

Each flower here will eventually get updated in greater detail (marked by colored dot). I will classify each one based on its nature, benefits, application, flavor etc. Until then, use at your own discretion. Be sure to check back later for updates. I’ll eventually have this list complete.

In General, most vegetable and fruit blossoms are edible. Some flowers thought to be toxic are actually edible and others thought to be edible may not be depending on the variety so again, use discretion.

Be a flower eater in your garden. Using edible flowers in your cooking is healthy and impressive to friends and can also take the place of other seasonings. There is a literal world of excitement right here on this topic of edible flowers.
