As promised, I am going to begin a simple chart for my region here in Utah grow zone 6B. This is a primary guide of what plants to plant at what time of season. Lists like these can be sliced and diced many different ways but rather than dividing things up by calendar, I'll slice em’ by variety placing them in order of first to last in our growing season( not alphabetical). Simply look up which vegie you are interested in growing and ill include when it is a good time to plant. Also feel free to disagree or correct me if you can.

Peas- April 1st! Pease are one of the first crops to get in the ground. They love the cooler spring weather and grow fast. Pease generally don’t do so well later in the hot summer but you might have them in the shade and growing in moist mulch which method alone breaks many conventional rules. Plant a row of peas each week until may and enjoy a harvest for a more extended season.
